Sometimes you may want the data in columns to be split out into separate cells.
The below is an example of a column with a list of names. The names shown contain the First name and Surname. In this exercise we want to separate the First name from the Surname, by moving the surname to column B. Why would we want to do this? Sometimes, you may want to sort by surname rather than first name. By pulling out the surname to another column you can then sort by column B.
